Attacks on Israel (Social Media)

International News: In the early hours of Saturday, Iran launched a fierce missile attack on Israel, which has so far resulted in three confirmed deaths and dozens of injuries. This retaliation came after Israeli strikes targeting Iran’s nuclear and military bases. The concerns of the global community are deepening, as this conflict now appears to be escalating towards a full-scale war.

Background of Attacks: Nuclear Prevention or Aggressive Provocation?

The Israeli government claims that its attacks were aimed at preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons. During these operations, the Israeli Air Force used advanced drones and warships to destroy Iranian military targets. These targets reportedly included several top military generals and commanders of the ruling Revolutionary Guard. This action is being described as part of Israel’s “prevention doctrine” in its national security strategy.

Over 200 Missiles Fired—Some Caused Chaos

In response, Iran launched around 200 ballistic missiles at Israel. While Israel’s Iron Dome defense system intercepted most of them mid-air, some missiles landed in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, causing significant damage. According to Tel Aviv's Bellinson Hospital, one woman died on the spot, and seven others were injured. Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedic services reported that two more people were killed and 19 injured in central Israel. At least four homes were completely destroyed.

Israel’s Threat to Tehran: “If Missiles Are Fired, the City Will Burn”

Amid the escalating attacks, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a stern warning:

“If Iran fires more missiles, Tehran will burn. We want to remind the Iranian dictator that he is endangering his own citizens.” This statement came following an emergency meeting with the IDF Chief of Staff, the Mossad Director, and other senior security officials.

Global Anxiety: Is This a Prelude to World War III?

Following this intense escalation, fears of a regional war in West Asia are growing. The United States, Russia, China, the European Union, and the United Nations have all urged both nations to show restraint. However, the situation on the ground remains highly volatile.

Middle East: A Powder Keg Ready to Explode

This conflict between Iran and Israel has now gone far beyond a limited military confrontation. It has turned into a direct battle over national survival, ideological supremacy, and regional dominance. The coming days will determine whether diplomacy can contain the flames or if the world will witness a broader conflagration.
